Appliqué refers to a needlework technique in which pieces of fabric, embroidery, or other materials are sewn onto another piece of fabric to create designs, patterns or pictures.  SWN is full of talented appliqué artists who create fabulous pieces to wear and display.  The photo to the left demonstrates free-form stitching on a dish towel by "Flamingo Toes".  There are lots more applique tutorials on this channel curated just for you right here.
