I have an 1130 which I purchased in 1988 and still love it.  It does everything except embroider.  I've decided it's cheaper to purchase iron-on appliques of all types.   Now I want to purchase the binder (I thought in all 3 sizes) but found out each one is $300, plus the foot which is only $35.  Has anyone ever purchased these binders and do you think they are worth it?  Has anyone purchased a generic binder, which one, at what cost and how does it work?  I really love the Bernina feet, but they are just a little too expensive for me right how.  I do know that Bernina is working on new binders, but I'm not sure when they will be out, or how much they will cost.  Thank you.
