One of the coolest ways I have seen those big old celluloid tight tops displayed is hanging from a string, strung like pancakes and adorning the inside of an archway in an old historic home.  My husband and I collect a lot of buttons. He recently got an old Red Cross wood trunk from an antique store. It has drawers in it and looks sort of like an old wood tool chest. He has it filled to the brim with buttons. He would like to have a large display cabinet, maybe something from an old mercatile with glass not only in the door but on the sides as well. He would like to display it with bakelite buttons which are his favorite.
