Anybody out there decided that the CreativFestival is the place to visit on Oct 21,22,23?  I'm planning on being there at least one day, possibly 3 or 4, if I can decide which courses to take.  I'll stay at my daughter's place for the duration and would love to meet a whole bunch of you on any day you decide to attend.

If the lunch crowds are impossible, we could always order in a pizza and pick it up at the main door.

Hey, Warna ~

It seems that some of us are going and are interested in meeting up with "the bunch from the sewing group".  I'll be there, don't know which day yet but if we can all agree on the day and the time, we could all meet at the lobby downstairs. 

 

Please, everybody who's going, make yourself a name tag so we can find each other!

I have never been to the Creativfest in Toronto but after all the e-mails they are sending me about it I am very, very tempted.  I went to the show in Cincinnati in April and bought way too much stuff but I am starting to use it up (yippee)  Let me know if anybody else is planning to hit Toronto, It would be a blast to meet up with some of you gals.

I've been there several times and always find some new and fascinating gadget or technique to play with at home.  There's a bus going down from here on the Friday and I'm thinking about taking it.  There's also a bus on Sunday, so I have do some thinking about when to go.  I would love to meet you there, along with anybody else who's planning on going.  This could be a really fun day!

great idea - I may be there myself.  Have you been there before?  Last time I was there the lunch was a nightmare!  Not enough staff to cover the rush - high prices (to be expected) - rudeness! Not my favourite part of the day. I dont know what is close by off site but it is worth a look.

Oh how i wish......this has been a dream of mine since i moved out east and found out about the creativfestival.   I can't this year, but that is the top of my list for next year.  I still have a daughter who will be starting her last year of university and i am paying for it so she doesn't have to come out with 4 years and owing thousands.  Once she grads, i will have more to spoil me with! lol   BUT when you get back, I want to hear everything you saw, touched, learned, heard, freebies and things you purchased....i am so excited for you!   Jane

Toronto's CreativFestival is on in October. I'm planning on being there for one day at least. There's so much to see and learn. Anybody else planning on being there? I'd love to meet a bunch of you ladies there and was thinking that perhaps we could arrange to meet on one of the days. Anybody interested? I'd be happy to organize a lunch or something and a place to sit down and get to know each other.

Hi everyone - Toronto used to be an amazing place to shop for fabrics. Unfortunately the landlords are raising rents and bargain places are diappearing :( I live in the Whitby/Oshawa area (east of Toronto) and make a day of things to head to Ottawa Street in Hamilton.  Another great place for fashion and dacewear fabrics in Hamilton is Anne's Fabrics.  If you don't see what you are looking for, ask!
