Sewing Tutorial: How to sew a collar with a collar stand

I found this tutorial to appear small on my screen, if you do too, click on the zoom button along the bottom of the tutorial panel until it is large enough.

I couldn't get the second page to come up, so I am still confused. Also, what is a collar stand? I am assuming that it is the band that goes around most men's shirts that allows the collar to stand up instead of lying flat on the garment. I don't mean to seem stupid, but it's things like this that I want to learn so badly. Thanks, Laurie
Hello, Laurie. To get to the rest of the instructions you just need to click on the arrowhead at the bottom of the part of the instructions you first saw. (It is in the gray bar to the right of the centered "1/3" designation.) You'll come up with a screen which actually shows TWO pages of instruction (like an open book) side by side. You might want to use the FullScreen button at the top of the page so you can actually read the text on your monitor -- and/or use the"Print" button that is also up there so you can have the instructions with the pictures in your hand.

A collar stand is exactly what you think it is. It is a "band" that connects to the body of the shirt and then to the collar itself. It facilitates a "crisp" turndown for the collar. You see it in tailored (like dress) shirts.
