Susan, thanks for setting this up and offering to run it! I'm looking forward to it. But I'd like to make a suggestion regarding fabrics offered by pet owners. Since many people are allergic to pet hair and dander, and even the most fastidious clean freak cannot completely eliminate it, even by laundering, I propose that any pet owner offering to swap fabric should let the recipient know. That way, participants can make an informed decision about whether they want to do the swap. Some allergy sufferers are more sensitive than others and this information could be useful. I participate in a charity knitting group and we have found this rule helpful, especially since we knit for newborns, mostly preemies, whose immune systems are not strong.
