and you had exactly what kind of fabric you wanted, and any other supplies... as well as all of the time and peace and quiet in the world, as well as the skill, what would you make?
I would make coats and jackets. I have no idea what exactly I'd like to make them out of, all different types of fabrics I am sure... long ones, short ones, yeah.... :)
AS A FORMER VICTORIAN ERA RE-ENACTOR, I WOULD MAKING VICTORIAN ERA CLOTHING FOR WOMEN FROM THE LATE BUSTLE (1880s) ERA. I NORMALLY HAVE IN THE PAST EITHER BOUGHT OR HAD SOMEONE ELSE MAKE MY WARDROBE THAT I WORE IN MY PERFORMANCES OR COMPITITIONS.
A whole lot of handbags and accessories
I am there now. I don't work outside the house so I enjoy sewing everyday. I have always had to work and it was hard working and coming home and wanting to sew but everything else took 1st on my to do list. Now I don't have to work (a job) anymore so I sew everything that I have ever wanted to sew. I love to make jacket and coats also so I make them. Through the years I have collected quite a stash so my goal is to get it all sewed up.
