Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

If you want to stitch some fun Easter mug rugs, or a pillow cover, bag, wall quilt, you must see SewHooked's Easter Peep bunny block pattern.  It is a paper piecing pattern. It's free! The folks at SewHooked suggest making a whole bunch of Peeps bunnies to make a finished 10″ block, or, make just one unit resulting with a 2.5″ x 5″ finished Peep bunny block.  Use your style and creativity to create these Peeps bunny blocks for a fun, funky? whimsical, folksy? prim? modern? shabby chic? How would you make your Peeps bunny?  A french knot or beads, buttons, felt, etc for eye.  Use your discretion with young children and beads or buttons, they can be a choking hazard.

This sweet Easter Peeps bunny quilt block pattern was designed in Electric Quilt 7.

Making your own quilt pattern using the fabric you already have is quick and easy with the new EQMini program. EQMini http://sew-whats-new.net/EQ-Mini Watch Laura Coia as she discusses the EQ software.
