An easy sewing project and a cuddly Easter gift for little ones they can use all year long! A bunny lovey is a soft, snuggly blanket with "some big-eared personality". Lovey bunnies can soothe toddler angst and are very nice for babies and toddlers in transition, to ease transition no matter how big or small. Easy to carry, ship, sew, and sell, measuring 12" by 12". One side should be soft and fluffy, perhaps a fleece or cuddle, and the other smooth to the touch, quilting cotton is ideal because it will never "pill" or develop broken fibers that bunch and diminish the soothing smooth texture. There is a free template available at Project Nursery for the ears, linked below! Check it out!
To make a bunny you will need:
2 x contrasting fabrics measuring 1/2 yard each
a smooth cotton fabric print at least 1/8 yard or a 4″ wide remnant
