My eight year old daughter is going to be an orphan in her school presentation of "Annie". Rather than a dress, she wants to wear overalls. Does anyone know of a pattern for some really easy baggy overalls? I've been looking around and cannot find anything.
Thanks y'all! The look they are trying for is more of a...I don't know what to call it...'depression, no color' look. Does that make sense? Like unbleached muslin or linen. Very drab.
Gifted Grandma-that's exactly like what I was looking for! My mom used to make those for me and my girls in the past, but where ever I ended up on the Simplicity website, they didn't have anything like it, and I couldn't believe it! Maybe if it's not 'Lizzy McGuire' or 'Hannah Montana' it just doesn't make it to the website! LOL!
Thanks again-and yes, I was planning on 'roughing them up' a little bit. I could probably just let Claire play in them once or twice and they would already have a hole in the knee and stains that won't come out! lol!
Lauri, the Simplicity 8048 seems to be considered a vintage pattern so that's probably why you weren't able to find it on the Simplicity site. I googled and came up with this site that says you can order the pattern. BTW I've never used this site and have no affiliation. http://www.oldpatterns.com/jumpers66.html
