Hello everyone! I had a question for you. Over the last few weeks, I've had a program called "Wild Ginger/Wild Things" recommended to me by several different seamstresses. I went to the site to check it out (didn't notice the System Requirements link at the very bottom of the page in small print) and downloaded it - only to find it's an .exe file. No love for me, as I'm a Mac user. (I do have both Parallels and VMWare Fusion, but I use it solely for checking design layouts for cross-browser compatibility. I have no interest in running programs from it. If I did, I would have bought a PC.)
Do any of you Mac people out there have any recommendations for Mac-loving software that is comparable to this "Wild Things"? I'm Googling now, but not finding much.
I have a Mac also and the free version of Wild Ginger/Wild Things. I had to get parallels in order to run all my embroidery software. It is so easy to switch over to it and run these programs. Why do you not want to use your Parrells software? I think I would give it a try.
My computer is loaded up with some pretty "high powered" stuff - and I only run VMWare when I absolutely *have* to, because it seriously slows everything down to be running it. I really don't want to have any programs that *require* PC-only compatibility. like I said, if I did want that, I would have bough a PC ;) I know it *would* run on my VMWare, but I don't want to have to run "another computer" just to use that program - especially if I end up using it a lot. I'd rather just find one for my Mac (I switched for a reason, and I don't plan on going back :) )
