Does anyone own or have you tried out any Juki Embroidery Sewing Machines? What do you like about them and dislike about them?

Comment by Ani on March 16, 2012 at 9:45pm Hi all - I purchased a Juki HZL 400 EXCEED a few days ago, had been sewing on a 20 yr old Pfaff, I LOVE my new Juki! =) Sews so very well on any fabric I've tested, the buttonholes are wonderful as are the deco stitches. The best thing is the foot pedal thread cutter, didn't think I'd like it but now I wonder how I lived without it! Anyone else here with an EXCEED? They make 300/400/600 models.

Comment by Mesewlot on November 30, 2011 at 7:58am Susan, I love my DDL! It's worked very well for me. I've had it about 10 years, and I've only had it serviced a few times. Probably a good idea to have it serviced much more often, but it's still doing very well. I highly recommend it, especially if you do a lot of custom sewing or tailoring, or just a lot of straight stitch sewing in general.
Comment by Susan on November 29, 2011 at 12:44pm How do you like your DDL... I've been looking at them too. I have a Singer industrial but I find it very temperamental.
Comment by Mesewlot on November 29, 2011 at 9:03am I also use the Juki DDL 8700, a straight stitch commercial machine.
Both of these machines are fantastic!
