I was told by my dealer not to use compressed air to try to clean the dust out as it just blows it deeper in to the machine. Wouldn't the air compressor do the same thing? Just curious.
Well, there's an idea! My hubby has an air compressor and it never occurred to me to use it on the sewing machine. Although, we're talking about major power bursts of air...that just might knock my machine right over, ha!

And Laura, true, where would the dust go? I can open the whole back of my machine, nowhere that I can see for the dust to hide. :) But, I have heard the same thing about the compressed air for machines and computers. Why would they even make these cans of compressed air then?
