I've got an Elna Diva 9000. I'm using the regular zig zag. It goes along just fine and then throws in a couple of straight stitches and goes back to zig zagging. Is the timing out? Do I need to take it in again for repair? Just trying to avoid another charge. Thanks, Jan

Skipping zig zags Well I dont know your machine very well but it may be a missing tooth in a gear or timing belt. Remember to alway start small check tension, needle, fabric type all can cause skipping. Use another fabric, change needle, check tension, clean, oil and see if that fixes the problem. Glues in fabrics cause build up  which can be a problem clean machine good. What type of fabric are you using?
