How's anyone doing with their 7570 & 7550 Pfaff Sewing Machines.

I have found that mine work beautifully with Vista Home Premium 32 bits.

I'm wondering if the old PCD/WIN will work with Windows 7.

The only suggestion I would have is to look online at the Pfaff website to see if you can download the user's manual. I hope you can fine it! :)

i have a 7570 but did not get the communications equiptment with it--does anyone have an idea where i can go.

Hi Kathy R, the more I use my 2048 the more I like it, but I would rather be using the 7570, which is sitting neglected. I should get either of them listed on ebay, as they are too good not to be owned and put to good use. Agree with Marty, the 7570 is a fantastic machine.

I have a Pfaff 2040 model. I really love it but would love a newer model with the wider space for machine quilting or better still a fabric mover. I tried it, but it doesn't work with my older 2040 model. I was very disappointed when I bought it that the dealer didn't have 1 on 1 lessons. I am still learning how to use different feet and features. I do love Pfaff though.

I have a variety of sewing machines & use them all. My primary machines are my Pfaff 7570, 1381, & my 4874 serger. I use these on a daily basis most of the time. My class machine is a Babylock X-scape which is computerized & only weighs 12 pounds. All of my Pfaffs weigh close to 30 pounds. I fell in love with my 7570 back in 1998 & got it in 2002 after saving 5 years for it. It is one of the most wonderful sewing machines ever made.

Hi Adelaide,

I was sorry to read about your experience concerning the 2048 and your dealer. I've been extraordinarly blessed with the dealer I purchased my 2170 from. I give him all the business I can and continually refer people to him.
I hope you are able to sell it and recoup some of your money. Do you have an online source where you can list it for free or a nominal fee? We have craigs list here in US.

Hi from Adelaide, Australia. I'm a Pfaff tragic and have my dear old 1222E (a hard act to follow), 7570, and 2048, plus a Hobbylock 783 overlocker (serger). I purchased the 2048 to use with the fabric mover as it wouldn't work with my 7570. Didn't get on with it at all, but the dealer would only allow me to return the fabric mover on condition I kept the machine! Sooooo, if anyone in Adelaide (or Australia) wants a hardly used 2048 let me know! I also embroider with a Brother 3000, as I find it more user friendly than the 7570. Not enough time to any of my lovely machines justice.

My name is Kathy and I own a Pfaff 2170. I don't get enough time with her as I'd like, but love sewing and embroidering with her. This machine replaced my 1471 which died after many years of sewing. I thought my 1471 would outlive me!
