How could I have missed it. Waiting all season only to missed the first episode. Thank goodness I have the chance to see it before the 2nd episode begins tonight. Look out family your not getting anything out of me during that time. Fend for yourself. I am busy getting inspired.

I have to say that I loved both Seth Aaron and Emilio, and was very happy with the end result. Most runway shows present clothing that is for a show and has to be tweaked to be worn in the real world. Emilio did present a very wearable collection but very plain for the show. Seth A. presented an awesome show and I could take many of those pieces and turn them into great unique outfits for many occasions. Fashion is forever changing and what we see today will be a "What were we thinking" moment later. I thank God that every one of us are unique with unique personalities and taste and I would never tell someone that what they are wearing looks awful. As Project Runway has shown us, style is just that, UNIQUE. To be perfectly honest I thought that all of the designers at some point presented items that you could go and find on a clothing rack in a store. Some may have had great designs that they just couldn't execute in the short time period given and enjoy a slower creative process, as do I. What great people to even get in there and give it a go! As Sherri has commented, "Now its time to order that DVD set!!!!".

Oh my goodness y'all. Can you believe it? I just knew Emilio was gonna win. He had beautiful clothes that women would love to have access to. I was surprised, though, at how he took the news that Seth Aaron won. At the 30 minute get together that was aired after PR final, he kinda acted like a sore loser. I still think if I had to go to anyone of those designers for an outfit, I'd definitely go to Emilio. I thought Seth Aaron was good, but I wouldn't be caught dead in those clothes! I am so glad that Mila didn't win. Now its time to order that DVD set!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about all of you, but I can hardly contain my excitement about Project Runway being on TOMORROW NIGHT! They have been running re-runs of past seasons alll day on Bravo, and yes, I have been watching! I have seasons 1-6 on DVD. I "had" to have them! I watch them over and over! My husband and I went camping a couple days week before last, and I took my laptop and my PR dvd's. When it got dark outside, I didn't want to go sit on the pier and fish.........I was having PR withdrawals!!! I plugged in the laptop and watched several episodes while I was working cleaning the little kitchen in the camper after supper. My husband even watched a few with me! Does this mean I'm "hooked"?

I picked the top 3 last season, and beginning this season, I picked Emilio, Seth Aaron, and Jay, but still thought that Jay might have a contender when it comes to Anthony. I think maybe my main problem may not lie with Mila's clothing, although it did not measure up to Jays in my opinion, I think a large part of my feelings toward her have to do with her attitude. To me, she's a "know it all". Overall, my favorites are Emilio and Seth Aaron, but I believe Emilio can make a more diverse group of clothing for his collection. Seth Aaron, though very good at design and execution, is all about jackets, tight pants, and many many many many zippers!!!

I have to chime in here...I agree with Londa about Mila. Snooze...but Jay is a bit much. Although I hated to see Anthony go, he had one note. He needs to learn a bit more about design. But he really made this season. I knew Seth Aaron would go to Bryant Park from the first few challenges. His style is definitely recognizable. And even though I don't like Emilio, his clothes are nice. Well, see ya on the runway.
Londa Rohlfing Comment by Londa Rohlfing on April 18, 2010 at 7:25am
I tire of Mila's black and white, but I think it was right that she win over Jay because though Jay has great ideas - he puts TOO many of them into one garment. He needs to learn: "Stop before you think you're done!" If in doubt - leave it out. and LESS is best! Mottos I teach and have to keep reminding myself of ALL the time as I design.

This is my soapbox, so I have something else to say!!! The other night when they had the episode with the circus acts. Did the judges think about how Tim Gunn had told the contestants to make the circus be their muse for "fashion"...."no costumes"? The only one who didn't have a COSTUME was Anthony, and they sent him home!
Sherri Comment by Sherri on April 16, 2010 at 2:58pm
Can you believe that Mila made it???? Are those judges blind? I was SICK when they voted to let her be the 3rd designer. Jay was so good. He was "fashion forward". Literally. I am not wild about Mila, nor do I like her attitude. She talks about everyone else having a bad attitude, and how the other contestants think their work is so good....Does she ever step back and listen to herself???? She does the same thing.
Peggy Gaines Comment by Peggy Gaines on March 3, 2010 at 10:28am
I, too, have been inspired by PR to expand on my skills. I just don't seem to have the time right now to do it! I DVR PR and Models so my daughter and I can watch together. We are as bad as the judges about critiquing the designs, although we don't always agree with them! I think the judges should get to see some of the "backstage" footage on team challenges as part of the decision making process. It sure would separate the wheat fromt he chaff quickly! I agree that this season's designer are much stronger than last season, but still not of the calliber of some of the previous seasons.
