Recalling the moment he publicly revealed being HIV positive, Project Runway contestant Mondo Guerra says the timing was right for reasons he doesn't even understand.

``I'm a spiritual person, and I really feel that there was something greater at work, something guiding me through it all,'' Guerra said in a phone interview.

As one of the final three contestants on this season's Runway, Guerra competed at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week. The season finale airs at 9 p.m. Thursday on Lifetime.

Guerra, 32, revealed his HIV-positive status last month during an installment of the fashion design reality show. He'd kept his diagnosis from the show's producers and other contestants, many of his friends and even his family. Guerra has been living with HIV for 10 years.
