I recently went to a class and made a purse from a 5 1/2 yard zipper coiland ribbon. It came out kind of cute. I am trying to upload a picture of it.

I love purses and I am trying to come up with an idea for myself that is a big bag but not heavy. I like to carry everything with me. I love cloth bags and not leather but strong. Everytime I make a bag and carry it myself someone admires it and I end up giving it to them.

I do the same thing. I end giving away the things I like best because some one else likes it too.

I like to make things for myself (or friends and family) as experimental new designs. I drag them around and abuse them and see what happens, it's a great way to learn what works and what doesn't.

My daughter did the beadwork on this bag. Then she sent it to me to put it together for her. It was her first attempt at sewing beads on fabric. She did a great job. I finished the bag and sent it back to her.

Me too!! Seems like the purses I make that I really love my friends or family love too and talk me into giving it to them. Like this one I call Country Chic.
