Well I am watching lesson 2 so far (and Lesson 3 of Sewing with Knits) just taking it all in at present.  My first problem will be actually getting some leather.  I think I may resort to recycling a leather skirt I picked up at a Charity Shop as the only other option seems to be to import it from the Tandy Leather Factory.  I think I will watch the whole thing first!

Don seems to have an orderly approach and a pleasant manner.  He has a lot to teach and I have a lot to learn, but plenty of time to do so which is the advantage with Craftsy!

Karen what do you this of the Making Leather Bags class?

Comment by Karen on April 17, 2013 at 2:39pm

Have taken the plunge and enrolled for Don Morin's Craftsy Classes "Making Leather Bags".  I have used faux leather but not for a bag, so this will be a whole new experience - and my first Craftsy Course!

This group is being slightly reconfigured.  We are updating as required.  I would love to see what everyone has been up to!  Has anyone made any bags over the winter?
