Comment by Sherri on April 21, 2010 at 9:47pm - I just finished sewing a cart cover for my grandson Noah (14 months old). I had cut it out of bright colored cotton and a solid mottled yellow cotton using Kwik Sew pattern 3643. I had cut it out and put it to the side and forgot about it. I saw it lying there earlier today and decided I'd finish it. The pattern looked easy enough. I did go ahead and cut the shape from batting also. I added red pockets trimmed in yellow to the inside of the cart cover, a neon green safety belt, and a hem tape strip on the front so Noah's paci clip can be clipped on, toys can be snapped on, etc. It is so soft! I am gonna take pics when I am in town and will post them. I hope everyone is getting some of their favorite projects done, though the weather is so beautiful that we are tempted to stay outside in the sunshine! Well, if you love the beautiful weather but you want to sew too, just take your machine out onto the patio table! Sew outside and enjoy the sunshine!!! It's good for the soul.

- Congratulations Tana. I just got home from three weeks of helping my daughter with her firstborn. Nothing like a new baby!!! I am busy sewing for him. I found a simple fitted crib sheet pattern that works like a charm!!

- I just found out yesterday that I will be a Grammy again. This will be the 4th Grandchild. I didn't expect another so am as excited as I was with the first. I have until Nov 11 to sew a wardrobe.
