Make a hat to go with the garment. My mom made and sold children's clothing for years, as did my mother in law. They both learned, that if you make a hat to match, you will sell the outfit, and sell it faster. You can get more money for the set. My kids, were so well dressed lol!
I sew kids outfits and I try to make hats, bloomers or something to make it an outfit , not just one piece. You are right, it sells much better.

Great advice! I have participated in a couple of craft shows and only sold a couple of outfits at each. Just enough to cover the cost of the booth. I have made jumpers, vest and skirt and top outfits to no avail. I get lots of compliments on colors and price, but no sales. Maybe adding hats and bloomers will be the tipping point and get these outfits to sell. Thanks so much for the tips and I will update you after the next craft show!
