I have a regular high back, arm-less (took them off, they interfered with my tables) office chair that I use in my sewing room.  

It's ugly.

I'm going to re-upholster it.  I think it will be fairly easy and I'll post before and after pictures when I get organized.  (LOL organized)

Anyone else do this?  What did you use for fabric?  I'm thinking DENIM.  

Ideas?  Please?

I did this to a similar sounding chair. In fact, I took the arms off also because they interfered with my sewing desk. I used a canvas type fabric and it turned out very well. I have since moved my sewing room and I'm getting ready to either slip cover it or reupholster it again.

My paint color was 'denim' thus the decorating scheme for the room. I have tons of scrap blue jeans so I pieced together random sizes and then topstitched in pink the seams. Will try to add photo. Also made a denim back cover with pockets out of old jeans. Hard to describe but comes in really handy!
