I would like to create my own square patterns and be able to print clear instructions. I currently have EQ6 software, but it doesn't allow me to separate components for easy tutorial instruction. Does anyone know if there are any add ons that will help me? Or another software, maybe?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Angela, I have EQ6 but don't use it that much just because I haven't had the time to spend on it. But I know you can export your drawings, blocks, etc. and add the images in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint to create your instructions. I would think that you could do the same with other word processing packages, like WordPerfect. Also, I know there is a Forum on the Electric Quilt website which you should be able to join and ask some questions. They even have a teacher discussion thread so maybe someone there would be able to give you some insight on how you can do it. HTHs
