The Jubilee Quilters Guild of Bartlesville will host Quiltfest 2009 July 10-11 at the Washington County Fair Building, 1109 N. Delaware, in Dewey.
More than 300 quilts will be displayed, as well as an exhibit of wearable art, demonstrations of quilting techniques and tools, a quilters' boutique, and a bed-turning of antique and unusual quilts.
Other highlights include vendors from five states, plus a drawing at 4:45 p.m. July 11 for the raffle quilt, "Jubilee's Rambling Rose," made by the members. Attendance is not required to win.
Jubilee Quilters Guild is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring, informing and encouraging excellence while preserving the heritage of quilting and related arts. It meets the second Friday each month and holds separate group studies, projects and workshops for all its members. New members are welcome.
