Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

This is a bag I made from upholstery fabric remnants, using an Amy Butler pattern. I must admit, I believe it was the hardest pattern I've ever tried to make sense of.

I was the same way with this pattern.  Needless to say, it's been put back in my pattern files.  I'm sure it won't be used for a while!!!

It is beautiful.  I understand about the pattern....my DIL's diaper bag was Amy Butler and I recently made her Cosmo bag for a friend.  They are great when done but I don't think I have ever had to re-read instructions so many times as I have with these patterns!  My seam ripper got quite a workout with both as well!  Lol!
