Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

These cool and comfy cotton bras took about 45 minutes to make and cost about $6! They were made from a 3 pack of 'granny' panties! They are wonerfully comfortable for working around the house or gardening.

These would have been wonderful a couple of years ago when I was having radiation & couldn't wear a bra for 6 months due to the discomfort.  I'll know now & maybe help someone else with the problem.

Great job, just wish someone would be brave enough to model. I woul, but it'll be a long time 'til I get around to making one.

Do you give the directions for how to make these?
Comment by HeyJudee on July 24, 2010 at 8:45am've given me an idea! I wear cotton "granny" panties and usually they get holes at the crotch seams. Now I will try repurposing them into bras! Thanks a bunch for this.
