Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I saw one of these on Pinterest. I bought 1/2 yd black burlap and cut 2 strips about 5" wide. I also got 1/2 yd of this orange/black polka dot, and from it, I cut 2 strips about 3" wide. I didn't hem anything. Just laid the orange strip on top of the burlap strip and sewed 2 seams, each one about 1" from the "center". I opened a wire clotheshanger and ran it through the tube made by the 2 seams. I attached a white bow, and voila! The top of the hanger looped into a circle which I used to just hang it on my wreath holder.
