as a mom of three sewing is my "sane place" if you will. "My sane place were I can go insane":)

My husband often wonders what his wife finds so pleasing about this past time and creative fun.

As a mental health counsellor I know how important hobies and ballance are to our well beeing. So be creative at the same time helps get two for one checked off.

being environmentally friendly is something I try to be as much as possible. Free scraps is an amazing idea. It would be cool if we all would send our scarps to one place and someone could makeup bags of all the people who took part. We could get a bunch of" new to us" stuff!!

See just the thought of this giveaway, gets my creative juices flowing!!

Take Care

Who can turn down fabric?  Not me!  I do charity sewing and could find uses for all the fabric scraps.

I love recycling fabric!!!  My favorite place to shop for fabric is the local thrift shops.  I've made hats, dolls, sportbags and baby jackets from t-shirts; purses/bags and half-aprons from jeans,  half-aprons similar as those worn by restaurant workers for my co-workers/teachers out of men's dress pants, and I just picked up a sweater to try making leggings for a toddler.  And the list will go on . . . :)
