'Sometimes the non-skid fabric can also be called "grip tight" cloth.  Or "Slipper Gripper".   I honestly don't know who would carry it in the UK or if they would call it the same thing.  

Anyone in the UK know?

Thanks Susan...where can I get non-skid from ? Is that what it is called in the UK ? Or have I just been blind in the fabric shop ?

I have just purchased some bootie material and wadding. Just need a pattern to make baby booties.....any help (and instruction) would be gratefully received - I am new to this sewing world !
