Great idea and I love the fabric!! I agree with poster above in that it could be adapted for motorcycle saddlebags. I better get to work on those, trip next week!!

I think that would work great for a liner for the motorcycle saddle bags too. I really like it and Jennifer you are right anybody would be happy to carry it for shopping. Great job!

Thanks everyone! Our town grocery stores do not provide plastic bags unless you pay for them so we take canvas totes into shops for our purchase. That was the main reason I wanted my bicycle basket liner to serve a dual purpose because I would need to take it in the shop with me for my purchases and also the reason I have the zipper pouch and button pouch inside to keep my wallet and phone with me but out of view as well as the key clip. (The abvoe photo doesn't show the inside accoutrement but if you look at my blog post you'll see the inside.

I love how this is doubly green-- it encourages bike use and cuts down on using plastic bags. Brilliant!
