You are so welcome.  I love it here.  If I find something cute to do, I'll post for you.

Mary Ann,

Thank you for the great TuTu Angel Babes referral. Perfect for what I want!  Ah, the wonders of social networks like Sew Whats New. Look forward to being your sewing friend and guide in learning what and how to sew for girls.

Mary,

The shop name is angel babes, I think.  I love the tutus. I was thinking of making Big Girl Tutu's!!  I just opened a shop on etsy this week but I haven't put any tutus in yet just little girl clothes.  Thanks again, for your lovely comments.

Mary Ann,

I did find all your photos and remarks.  It is great information and I will go to the Etsy site to look for the tutu pattern and tulle.  This is the benefit of this wonderful web site. . . sharing of information and photos. Thanks again.

Patti, Thanks so much but I'm no expert. My granddaughter is 2 and very short and stout but she is quite the little dancer so she would not even take it off for naptime! I commented on your tutu this morning but I am new here and I don't know if I did it right! I loved your tutu and the color was great. I used a pattern that I got from Etsy. It used about 100 strips of tulle and I added some ribbons and bows. I used 3 different colors of tulle that I got from the same Esty store and it was really soft and easy to work with. This was her bithday Tutu so I made an appliqued tshirt and a princess hat to match. The Tutu was so full it stuck straight out! So cute. I enjoy making these tutus I just don't like all the cutting so the rolls make it alot easier.

ADORABLE!! I love the fullness - just made my first one - not as full because my little granddaughter would be most likely to NOT wear it. I posted my as well, would love to know what you think as you appear to be an expert!
