Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I needed an absorbent rug in front of my doggie door and could not find one in my price range. This rug measures 31"X48" was made by ruffling 12 yards of cotton fabric. The fabric was cut into bias strips, then ruffled and stitched onto canvas. I made the rug for about $17.
