A friend gave me 2 pairs of old jeans and I had a go at crazy patchwork - inside and out! Used my old faithful Style pattern 4143 from the 70's

Its in my Photo Album 'Style 4143' which are all bags made with the same pattern....

OH...I guess I missed that photo. I'll look - I use the iron on fleece too, but haven't done the stitch in the ditch yet. Good idea!

Hi Linda

There is a picture of the inside too. I just machined in the seams (stitched in the ditch) as it was backed with iron on fleece.

Love it! I have a huge box of old jeans people have given me and I've bought at yard sales, just for purse making. I love this idea for using up the pieces after I make them. You did the lining as patchwork too? Did you quilt it?
