Wrapping fresh bread in ordinary kitchen towels is an excellent way to keep it nice and fresh throughout the day. This is a very quick, easy, inexpensive, and useful craft item. If you don’t bake your own bread, these bags are good storage for artisan breads you buy in a bakery as well. These bags would make nice housewarming gifts - of course with some fresh bread inside.

Kitchen towels are the perfect size for making bread bags. Using kitchen/tea towels also means no cutting – and no finishing seams. Of course you can cut fabric pieces for these bags out of linen or any other fabric you'd like and sew the seams.
