Dolls4KidsWithCancer

the material for these dresses were donated by a local quilting lady. They are 18 inches high. This photo shows a smiley embroidered face. When the skirt is flipped, it shows the doll wearing a nightgown with a sleepy face embroidered. each wears a mop cap (in concept like a chemo cap) since children lose their hair to chemo just as adults do. Two children have been laid to rest with their dolls. I use different skin tones, but the lady who runs our small American cancer society says the kids care nothing about the skin tones. Smart kids huh!

thanks. I lost a mother to brain cancer in '92, and a father to Alzheimers in 1999. I like to
pay it forwaard where I can. I tried to mail you a comment earlier but it didn't work.
