I made this for my grandson in 2011. I used plain white cotton for the sheath. It is basically a rectangle with points on the hem. The necklace was made using a foam visor that was embellished with gems and costume jewelry pieces. The band and apron were made from gold lame fused to extra heavy weight interfacing. This also was embellished with jewels and felt hieroglyphs.
Wow Denise, that's really good. I'm guessing it was for Halloween? Whenever we had Fancy Dress Parties here, my son wanted to be a character from Star Wars or Harry Potter, so a long hooded cloak usually fit the bill! I did make medieval lady costumes for my nieces when they were little, and it was fun.
