Bodice is sequined knit; skirt is some sort of irridescent sheer synthetic (it was on sale). Lace trim (50 cents a yard from an outlet) and a ribbon waistband. (I ended up putting the zipper in by hand—twice!—because the dress simply slithered off the sewing machine into the floor every time I let go of it . . . )
