Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

This pretty, romantic, floral quilt is made from a variety of lovely fabrics with a definite victorian french provincial feel. Beautiful roses and flowers in the softest pinks, greens, blues and creams.

The pattern of the quilt is based around a central blue and white toille patterned block highlighted by a solid marbled blue frame. The central panel has been custom machine quilted in a complementary pattern.

The simple square pattern of the remainder of the quilt is offset by lovely sashing - both simple designs allowing the fabrics to take centre stage. The quilt has been quilted by a long arm quilter.
