Going Postal Fashion

The fusion of card making and fashion sewing! This is a Note card that I have sewn using the Islander Sewing MyStyle Greetings. The little dress is made from scraps of left over fabrics. I used a gingham check taffeta fabric and black lace for the underskirt. Black ric-rac for the belt and a little pre-made bow with a pearl bead at the center.

Another idea would be to make shadow boxes using this idea. You could make the dress using fashion doll patterns as your template.

Thank you Andrea! It might be a bit breezy as a real dress since it only has one side. LOL  I think I will make it in a real life version. Now to find the time to do it! haha

Water Squirrel (cute name!) I happen to have about enough of this gingham to make a full sized one. Now I just have to design the pattern. Haha Thanks for the kind words!

Wanda Stewart- Thank you!
