thank you for all the wonderful comments about Hanna's quilt.  Guess what? we are going to be having her third birthday in March. This time I'm giving a bond, too much work to make another quilt, but, who knows maybe another year. I didn't do much sewing this season, i mostly concentrated on special crafts to give. Now I can start sewing a little more.  Have a happy new year everyone.  grami Fran

Hi Lyn, Carolyn, Buttons, and Rosalie, Thanks for the wonderful comments, yes Lyn, OH the clipping, I did use the Friskars snips, then switched off to short extra sharp Friskars. Gave my fingers a break. Plus my wrist, I have had 10 surgeries for carpel tunnel and triger finger and etc. . Thank God they still work. And yes,I love Tiger Lily. One of the ladies, Donna, I believe also works at (Husqvarna) sic: in the Joanne sewing store in New Hartford. I found many lovely fabrics for babies, plus I know it's clean. I learned to make my purse there at one of the classes. Do you shop there also? Grami Fran

Beautiful!! I made rag quilts for 2 of my grandsons for Christmas a couple years ago. I made them out of their grandpa's old jeans and flannel. Oh, the clipping!!! After the first quilt, I bought a pair of Fiskars snips which was much easier.
I see you live in Utica. I live in Madison, about 25 miles south. Do you shop at Tiger Lily quilt shop? Do you do much quilting?
