Hope Project

*PATTERN NOW AVAILABLE! (see link below) Hope is a therapy, "Tatter Tot" that I designed for chemotherapy patients. She's completely hairless, wears a headscarf & has pale skin (compared to my dyed Tatter Tots!).

10% of proceeds benefits the Huntsman Cancer Foundation & another 10%, the Samaritan's Purse International Relief ! You can read more about the Huntsman Cancer Foundation in my blog section http://sew-whats-new.com/profiles/blogs/a-little-hope or by googling it. They're a fantastic organization!

Comment by Bonnie on March 11, 2010 at 2:00am: She is absolutely precious, Birdie! You know, you should get help from a hospital volunteers. Get each lady to each make 1 doll to start with so you'd have a small inventory to offer to the hospitals in your area. You might even get a fabric shop to donate some remnants and notions to help defray cost. It's a charitable donation for them and a Godsend for you. I would imagine pediatric onocologists might like a 'tatter tot' or two for their office. I think you're onto a good thing
here.

I might make some with jeans/coveralls for the little boys. I cannot see any hospital treating children that will turn down your gifts. God Bless all you ladies who do this!
