If you don’t use a serger, and you are sewing your mermaid tail blanket with fleece or cuddle fabric, use your walking foot if you have one! It will help feed the cuddle fabric through your sewing machine evenly. You have the option to leave the bottom of the tail open or closed.

These are so cute, warm, cuddly and easy to make.  I made a shark for a young boy.
