Spicy Spiral Table Topper
Tell us what you think!
I love this!
Comment by CAROL ANDERSON on November 10, 2011 at 12:50pm Thanks for all the info! Glad to have 'met' you and your quilt.
Comment by Suzanne S on November 10, 2011 at 11:52am Phillips Fiber Art sells the pattern. It can also be found elsewhere on the internet. If you don't have the 9 or 10 degree wedge ruler (or someone who can create one) that is the big expense.
It is not difficult to make. You create your 'strata' WOF - you cut the wedges. You sew the wedges together. You create your sandwich...ta da!
Comment by CAROL ANDERSON on November 10, 2011 at 11:25am Maybe a silly question but where would I find that pattern? Is this very hard to sew?
I probably would sew it with very noticeable oops, but it might be fun to sew.
Comment by Suzanne S on November 10, 2011 at 10:35am Thanks...guess it isn't as bad as I think! No, not an original. This is the Spicy Spiral Table Runner using the 10 degree 25 inch wedge ruler.
Comment by CAROL ANDERSON on November 9, 2011 at 9:56pm Suzanne, I still am not sure what you are talking about. ;o) Again, I will just say WOW. Is this an original?
Comment by Suzanne S on November 9, 2011 at 6:39pm Where the two sections meet...makes a WIDE section. I do not believe it should be that way.
Comment by CAROL ANDERSON on November 9, 2011 at 4:53pm I've been studying this for quite awhile and cannot find where the oops is! Sooo, you shouldn't tell !!! ;o)
Comment by Suzanne S on November 9, 2011 at 10:58am Not telling where the oops is....but it is there!
Comment by CAROL ANDERSON on November 9, 2011 at 10:57am This is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could make one but I'm sure it would never look like yours. WHAT do you mean it is an OOPS?? It is a WOW!
