I am getting ready to start one of these myself. I haven't quilted yet so am a little nervous. Yours looks great.

Thanks Diane for your beautiful comments. The picture was the first t-shirt quilt I made. I am currently working on another in memory of my daughter's best friend that passed away from Cystic fibrosis. At the local quilt shop I purchased a book which had all the directions. I'd love to tell you the name of the book but I leant it out and never saw it again! I have made others since though. I purchase at the quilt store a product they call "french fuse". I cut the t-shirt pattern larger than the anticipated square I will use. I iron on the "french fuse". (It is sort of like a knit fusable interfacing) Iron it on with the lines on the fusable going perpendicular the lines on the knit t-shirt. Then cut down your squares and get to work making your quilt. It is really easy and a great way to make use of the thousands of t-shirts that the kids never want to get rid of! Good Luck!
