Corinne of "Heart of Mary" demonstrates through this mini-tutorial, how to make a cover for a KitchenAid mixer. Some sewing experience is needed as the tutorial is brief and without step-by-step photos. (Pretty simple project though) Corinne explains that the cover is reversible and says that should you want a change in look every now and then, to choose a pretty lining fabric. Great idea!
what you need:
1 meter quilting weight cotton fabric for outer cover (non-directional prints preferred)
1 meter quilting weight cotton fabric for lining
1 meter sew-in cotton or polyester batting
quilt basting spray
about 5 meters double fold bias tape in coordinating colour
matching thread
other sewing essentials such as scissors, needles, ruler, marker, pins, sewing machine, etc.
