The pillowcase dress, I don't use a pattern, but the A-line dress is from Martha Pullen's book. Can't remember the name of it, but it's yellow. You could probably go to her site and find it there. She writes the magazine "Sew Beautiful". I have used this A-line pattern for at least 15 years and you can do all sorts of things with it. Add appliques, ruffles, make it a top and add pants or bloomers, just about anything you can think up. The book also has a pattern for a boy's john-john, which I also use lots and lots.
