My £1 black nylon bargain was beginning to embarrass me, so I made this one, and it works! This was a nice quality piece of curtain, and the bias binding was a pillowcase
Tell us what you think!

I used my existing bag as a pattern but there are instructions here - http://bluebirdsews.blogspot.com/2011/07/stashtacular-tutorial-pape... for a similar bag. The only difference is my bag handles are fitted differently. I overlocked (serged) all round the front and back piece and stitched the handles on within the top inch. I then turned the top edge down 1", pressed it, then pinned the handles back up before top stitching at the top and bottom of the turn. It gives a nice neat finish. I also top stitched both sides of the handles when I made them. Good luck however you make yours!
Comment by Joyce Carter on February 3, 2012 at 6:26pm Really loved it. Is there a patttern or tutorial in this bag?
