Renata Sarauer on the Cover of Queen Magazine

This is vogue 1089, I made it for the cover of our local magazine. I'm so proud of this dress it was my first lining.

Renata, congratulations!! You look just lovely in your beautiful dress! Don't get discouraged, I have five children (had five in six years, YIKES) but sewed off and on during the years until now, (the youngest is 18) and I'm just getting my sewing business off the ground. You take a little break and once the kids are older, you'll be right back at it!

As an old comedian use to say, «you look marvelous».

OMG :) Thanks for the feature. I was very shocked when I saw my name on the Queen's Facebook page one morning, saying please contact us (you're our September cover). I was one of 6 people chosen to be a cover model. Queen of the Castle is a local magazine that celebrates women in the Chippewa Valley. I recently closed my fashion boutique, so I was really depressed and almost gave up the opportunity. The editor was really supportive and expressed how much I needed to do this. So I decided to talk about my sewing and how love it. With three (3) kids under the age of six (6), I explained how much sleep I do with out to have a little me time. Thanks so much for all the compliments.
