Jessica from "Me Sew Crazy" offers a tutorial showing how to give an old umbrella a pretty spring makeover. She used the existing frame, but created a new canopy from pretty new fabric (Parisville fabric by Tula Pink).

this is very pretty, could a person leave the waterproof material on and just put fabric over it? I guess, you would have to figure out the pattern though. Very pretty, thanks. I don't have any idea where to get the waterproof spray, can you tell me? Thanks.
