thanks for the kind words on this project.  I found a silly 'typo' in my comment above: I use an INEXPENSIVE dress form here! (not expensive, ha ha, she's from a local store display vendor)

This is a vintage pink silk satin charmeuse cami that I am re-styling with pieces of lace.  Everything here is pinned in place so I can see how it looks.

I use an expensive 'foam' body display form with wood stand and white knit jersey cover.  She's light weight and portable, so that makes her easy to use, and I can still stick pins in her when I work.
