Rosy Bra Sewn Out of An Old Curtain by Annele Isomäki

This is a sweet rosy bra made from an old curtain found at a flea market. The fabric is quite thick, but the type of weave made it very adaptable for the designer, Annele Isomäki. The pattern used is a balconette style bra (#2610) and the straps are from the pattern #4011.

Annele Isomäki, is the designer and developer of the MakeBra models and patterns. She has designed and made patterns for underwear for more than ten years. Prior to bra-making, Annele sewed tailor-made clothes mainly from silk fabrics. Annele graduated as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts in the clothing industry In 1989. I really love this bra, I did not know that there was a pattern for a bra. I will look into the patterns and make a couple  for myself. You did a fantastic job, any suggestions?

Very interesting.  I would imagine this would be a great deal of work though, and it's so important to get a good fitting bra. It is quite pretty though.
